Our Olympic Weightlifting Club trains together four days a week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 5:00-9:30am, 12:00-1:30pm, 3:00-6:00pm — and also Saturdays from 11:00am-2:00pm. These training session focus on developing the skills and techniques needed for the sport of Olympic Weightlifting, which is comprised of the Snatch and Clean & Jerk. These two competitive lifts test an athlete’s explosive strength, speed, coordination and focus which is why they must be practiced regularly while simultaneously developing the athlete's mobility, core strength, and individual muscular imbalances.
